Teams bid for the right to name the scripture, (lowest bid wins).
The captain of team #1 says "I can name that scripture in ____words."
Other teams can bid lower or say "Name that Scripture."
The teacher then reads the number of words bid.
The words can be at the beginning of the scripture (or the teacher may choose to pick a spot in the middle of the verse and begin reading there), stopping after the number of words that were bid.
The team has 10 seconds to consult.
The fewer words used the more points earned. (9 words =1 pt., 8 = 2, 7 = 3, etc.)
