Assessment Work Sheet
You can use a work sheet to help people assess how a gospel principle is currently part of their lives and discover areas in which they can improve. Use a work sheet like the following at the beginning of a lesson. Explain that if anyone answers no to any of the questions, the lesson will help him or her understand how to better live the principle and will suggest one or two ways to improve.
What Kind of Example Am I?
Do I listen with respect to others’ opinions?
Do I always speak positively about others?
Do I treat my family members with love?
Am I honest in my work?
Am I a good sport?
Do I keep my language clean and pure?
Is my appearance neat and clean?
Do I keep the commandments?
Do I read the scriptures regularly?
Am I cheerful about helping others?
Do I watch only wholesome movies and television programs?
Do I read only uplifting books or magazines?
Am I unselfish with my time and talents?
Am I dependable?
