2012 Young Women Lesson Schedule

Here's the 2012 Lesson schedule for YW.

Please note there are three weeks during 2012 without lessons. Two of those will be your stake conferences. I have not included those on this schedule because I don't even know my own yet :)

I have included the optional Easter and Christmas lessons. You will need to alter this schedule to suit your unit calendar. You will probably choose to do either an Easter or Christmas lesson, and push the lesson material back a week to suit your stake calendar.

What about the week 2 and 3

What about the week 2 and 3 lessons that are supposed to be taught from the pink book entitled, "The Latter-Day Saint Woman, part B"? It doesn't seem like anyone is using that manual but according to the church website they are supposed to be.

The only time you'd use

The only time you'd use Latter-day Saint Woman A or B for Young Women lessons is when your unit is very small and has combined meetings with the Relief Society. Use of the "basic curriculum" requires approval from the Presidency of the Seventy or the Area Presidency. In that case, you'd follow the Relief Society lesson schedule here:

but you would substitute Latter-day Saint Woman B for the George Albert Smith manual lessons.

As long as your Young Women's organization is meeting separately from the Relief Society for Sunday lessons, you will use the Young Women's Manuals 1-3 for your lessons each Sunday. This is called the "general Sunday curriculum". During 2012 you should use Young Women's Manual 1.
