I am a massage therapist and I helped with a local enrichment night that went over so well! The women each brought their own mat or towel and dressed in comfortable work out wear. After their brief lesson they did pilates, led by a local woman. They learned basic easy but effective moves, for about 20 minutes. Then I spoke to them about stress relief and meditation, having them lay down and lead them in a 10 minute positive meditation. After which the leaders prepared fresh fruit smoothies from ice, milk, and fruits brought for the night, complete with mini umbrellas. What a great way to review the importance of body ,mind and spirit and combine it all in one fun renewing night! Would be great for combined night with young women’s, also.
