You’ll need:

  1. Scissors
  2. One Resin Dome Pendant Necklace Kit (includes pendant tray for 1 inch circles, resin dome sticker, and matching 24″ ball chain necklace)
  3. One inch circle images for pendant
  4. Adhesive
  5. 1 inch circle craft punch (optional)

Make or get Craft Circles

I got these from LDS Craft Supply at Etsy.  Search for “Dollar Download” or go to the LDS Printable Section.  There are lots of freebies online, too, or you can make your own.

TIP: If you make your own craft circles, besure the outside border or image on your craft circle extends slightly larger than an inch to avoid the paper showing through.

Step Two: Affix the Craft Circle to the Resin Dome

It’s easier to position your craft cutter if you cut your craft sheet like this.

I used a one inch craft circle punch that I picked up at Walmart

TIP: Hold the resin dome with at least three fingers, and you’ll be able to position your craft circle perfectly!  Just wiggle the craft circle slightly left and right as you lower it between the fingers that are gripping the resin dome.  Your three fingers will guide the craft circle into the correct position.  Perfect every time!

What if you don’t have a Craft Punch?

No worries.  Just place the resin dome directly on the craft circle and cut it out as shown below:

Now trim the excess away with a pair of scissors. THE RESIN DOME CUTS EASILY, so be careful.

Step 3: Glue the resin dome to the pendant tray

Now just attach the dome and circle to the pendant tray. You can use any glue that attaches to both paper and metal.  I used E6000 because it’s super strong and available almost everywhere, including department and craft stores.
