IHOP - Important Hour of Progress

Anonymous's picture
As a YW class, or for a Combined YW activity, have an IHOP (Important Hour Of Progress) Night.

Serve pancakes and juice. Invite the girls to bring their personal progress books and a project they are working on. Let them eat pancakes and work on their projects while the YW leaders take them aside, one at a time, to evaluate and assist them in their projects.

We do a Personal Progress night once a quarter for the Beehives class. It has been wonderful in helping to keep them motivated to working on their goals. If one of the girls has been working on a knowledge goal, perhaps she can learn a new pancake recipe and share it too!
