The Holy Ghost is a Gift from Heavenly Father

My little one spoke in Church last Sunday on the Holy Ghost. He used a little object lesson in the talk as an attention getter.

You'll need:
a gift-wrapped box or gift bag
a piece of paper with the words "Gift of the Holy Ghost" written on it that fits inside your box or bag

The first Article of Faith is: "We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in his Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost."

The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. He does not have a body of flesh and bones; he is a spirit.

The Holy Ghost helps Heavenly Father and Jesus. He tells us things They want us to know. He will help us make right choices. He can warn us of danger. He testifies of Christ.

When we are baptized, Heavenly Father blesses us with a special gift [open the gift and pull out the wordstrip]: the Gift of the Holy Ghost. That means, if we try to stay worthy, the Holy Ghost will be with us always.

I will obey the commandments so that the Holy Ghost will be with me always. I know the Holy Ghost is real because [personal experience here].
