Who said, “I Have Dreamed a Dream” ?
Did you say Martin Luther King?
if you did, you are not entirely correct!
LEHI did!
In 1 Nephi 8:2 we hear the famous phrase: I have dreamed a dream.
1 Nephi 8 Lehi recounts his vision of the tree of life.
I love this drawing. I wish I knew where it came from. I found  it in the seminary closet. It is years old. I thank the former teachers in my ward for not throwing it away!
As we took turns reading 1 Nephi 8: 2-33, we took turns coming up to the board and drawing.

We spent a couple of days trying to understand what the tree means, what is the filthy water? The iron rod?Mists of Darkness? Great and Spacious Building?Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostlessaid Neal A. Maxwell“The tree of life … is the love of God (see 1 Ne. 11:25). The love of God for His children is most profoundly expressed in His gift of Jesus as our Redeemer: ‘God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son’ (John 3:16). To partake of the love of God is to partake of Jesus’ Atonement and the emancipations and joys which it can bring” (“Lessons from Laman and Lemuel,” Ensign, Nov. 1999, 8).
